Installing Prudent

These installation steps are actually quite typical for your operating system of choice. It's iterated here anyway just in case you need a sanity check.

Download

To download a suitable client for your macOS or Windows computer, click on the Download button on the top right of Prudent.Me.

Alternatively, get the operating system specific release on the release page of the main Prudent repository.

macOS

Once downloaded and unzipped, you can start using the app already by simply clicking on it.

It is recommended that you place Prudent in the Applications folder (accessible via the Finders sidebar).

Windows

Click on the Setup file and follow through the installation wizard to complete the installation with your desired preferences.

Troubleshooting

If you run into any issues installing Prudent, please create an issue entry.
